Rules of Submission

Rules of Submission

1. Subtitles: Entries must be in English or have English subtitles/dubbing. Non-English films without English subtitles will be disqualified.

2. Length and Production Year: We accept films or videos of any length — from short films to full-length features — with no production year restrictions. Original scripts of any length are also welcome.

3. Entries: Each submission must select one main category. Multiple entries are allowed from the same filmmaker, and a single film may be submitted to multiple categories.

4. Submission: All entries must be submitted through FilmFreeway. Please do not send discs or downloadable files. Works-in-progress are accepted but must include a completion deadline.

5. Entry Fee: An entry fee is mandatory for all submissions, with no fee waivers granted. Entry fees are non-refundable in case of disqualification or non-selection.

6. Management Decision: All decisions made by the jury and festival management are final, non-negotiable, and not open to questions.

7. Copyrights: The submitter/filmmaker must own all rights to the film.

8. Awards: Winners will be announced as the Best Films in their respective categories. Award-winning filmmakers may order a trophy by contacting us via email at goldenfilmaward@gmail.com for further details.
